CASSIDY:

Having a stinking cold this week has certainly dulled my powers of observation and also introduced static into my connection with the ether.  My week has consisted of trying to stay on my feet long enough to drop the kiddie to nursery, clean, pick the kid up, clean some more, feed the kid, entertain the kid, cook for the hubby, bath the kid, put the kid to bed, and then and only then I have allowed myself to collapse in a heap of jellied bones!

Mum’s out there I’m sure you know the drill, and I find myself using clichéd phrases such as ‘a woman’s work is never done’ and ‘no rest for the wicked’; even though I am certainly not wicked…well only in fun.

I sometimes compare my life to various fairy tales, depending on my mood.  When I am feeling particularly frisky I wish I was Snow White, except the seven dwarves could be seven hot clones of Jenson Ackles, and when I’m feeling romantic I imagine I’m Cinderella and my fairy godmother will zap away my jeans and tatty t-shirt and send me off to dance the night away with Jenson Ackles. And when I’m feeling ill and drained I wish I were Sleeping Beauty so that I could sleep for ages and get woken up by a kiss from…you guessed it, Jenson Ackles!  Hmmm, maybe I need to vary my fantasies a bit more…Nah!

So as the fog and nasty fuzzies of my cold begin to dissipate, I am beginning to see clearly again, my connection with the ether is re-established and I promise you more interesting observations next week.  But for now I leave you with just two words…Jenson Ackles!
